There are a lot of things about the world to be learned if you bother to search for them. The primary source are the various books you can read.

    • The Holy Royal Guard – a book about the King of Elynsor’s personal security force. Asella makes a comment when reading this book (exact comment depends on her Purity and whether she’s still a virgin or not)
    • The Elements – a book about the various elements used by spellcasters. Lanie, Irine and Thyme each make a different comment when reading this book (Irine makes her comment only if her Purity is 80 or higher, the other two have no requirements)
    • Erion, God of Order – a book about Erion, one of the major deities worshipped in Elynsor. Irine makes a small comment when reading this book (exact comment depends on her Purity)

    • A book about Blue Day, one of Elynsor’s holidays – Lanie makes a small comment when reading this book
    • A book about the Queen’s Birthday, another of Elynsor’s holidays – Asella makes a small comment when reading this book (exact comment depends on whether she has been sent to the Chambers as a result of a lost battle or not)
    • A book that contains erotic depictions of men and women engaged in carnal acts – each character makes a different comment when reading this book (Irine’s and Asella’s comments depend on their Purity, the other 6 make the same comment regardless of Purity)

Not all reading material is as detailed as most of the above books. Some books (such as the ones on the bookshelf in the twins' room) are little more than flavor text and will not be listed here.

Thyme's flashback reveals some info about ancient Cerynsia, the First Void War, and some of the people that lived back then.
